Hey, thanks, Xavier. Bus driver was one of my many odd jobs over the years. I thought it'd be easy...
Boy was I wrong 😑
Nothing like a gang of rowdy 10-year-olds to make you second-guess your life choices. That's for sure.
Met a lot of extraordinary people, though. School bus drivers have my undying love and respect. They are a special bunch.
One part drill instructor - One part surrogate parent - One part confidant and counselor.
...oh, and you have to do it all looking behind you through a mirror while navigating city streets, country roads, and the occasional highway at a high rate of speed.
Great pieces. I loved the snack basket for the seeming school bus driver

Piece of cake!
I can only imagine🙃
Herosim really is done on the daily, moment by moment, and you've illustrated that so powerfully many times over here bud. Very well done.
"Heroes are everyday people who choose compassion when the world offers none, bravery when their instincts tell them to run."
Sound like more song lyrics to me ;).
Ha! That does have a lyrical quality to it, doesn’t it? 🙌
Thanks, Michael ❤️
Thank you for this reminder of what true bravery looks like and for making the invisible visible.
Thank you, Nicole. Something tells me you're quite a Hero yourself. 🦸♀️
That is so kind! Thank you!
